The Catalyst Foundation “Anh Chi Em” (ACE) Mentorship Program seeks to promote interpersonal mentor-mentee relationships and to encourage young Vietnamese adoptees, ages 7 to 17, in lives of commitment, civic engagement and cultural appreciation.

Vietnamese-American youths will interact with mentors who will facilitate their social and intellectual development as future successful leaders within their local communities as well as in the broader world.

The ACE Mentorship Program Objectives are:

  • To foster sustainable relationships between adopted Vietnamese youth and Vietnamese-American professionals and college/graduate students that will develop leadership skills and a positive appreciation for the Vietnamese culture.
  • To encourage broad and active participation in civic engagement, thus building a sense of community and paving the way for success in future generations of Vietnamese-Americans.
  • To provide opportunities for youth to receive advice and guidance from Vietnamese American mentors.
